BOOKING PROCESS


How do I book?

Renting a car with us is quick and simple. Follow these easy steps to complete your reservation:

  1. Select Your Dates – Choose your desired pickup and return dates.

  2. Choose Your Vehicle – Browse our available vehicles and select the one that best fits your needs.

  3. Confirm Your Booking – Enter your information and complete the reservation securely online.

  4. Pick Up and Drive – Arrive at the scheduled time, complete the check-in process, and enjoy your rental.

Is a security deposit required?

A $250 (credit card) security deposit is required prior to confirming your rental and will be temporarily charged to your credit or debit card. This deposit will be held until the rental vehicle is returned.

Once the vehicle is returned, the deposit will be refunded, less any applicable incidental charges. These may include fuel, additional mileage, tolls, unpaid citations, insurance deductibles, rental extensions, or any other fees outlined in the accepted rental agreement.

Please note that luxury vehicles require a higher security deposit ranging from $500 to $1,000.


What payment methods do you accept?

We accept debit cards, credit cards, and other major payment methods through our secure payment system.

Do you have extra or hidden fees?

Unlike large corporate rental companies, we believe in transparent pricing without hidden fees or unnecessary charges. The fees we apply are essential for maintaining legal compliance and operational efficiency. This approach allows us to continue providing excellent service while keeping our pricing straightforward and easy to understand.

Below is a transparent breakdown of our fees:

Sales Tax (5.25%)
Sales tax is a standard charge applied to all car rental transactions. This 5.25% tax is required in Birmingham, Jefferson County, and the state of Alabama is added to the total cost of your rental.

VLS Fee (5%)
The Vehicle License Surcharge (VLS) is a 5% fee that helps cover costs associated with vehicle registration, licensing, and compliance with state regulations. This mandatory fee ensures our vehicles remain legally compliant and road-ready for your convenience.

Processing Fee (4%)
A 4% processing fee is applied to cover administrative costs associated with managing your rental. This includes expenses related to booking, billing, customer support, and operational systems that help us deliver a smooth rental experience.

INSURANCE AND PROTECTION


Do I need to own insurance?

Yes, all renters are required to have a current and active auto insurance policy with at least minimum liability coverage.

If you do not have full coverage, you may purchase our Rental Car Damage Protection add-on, which provides additional protection specifically for damage to the rental vehicle caused by a collision.

Please note that this coverage is secondary, meaning your personal auto insurance will act as the primary coverage, and our protection plan will apply only to the rental vehicle after your insurance has been used.

If you do not possess insurance, you may purchase a full coverage episodic plan directly on our website.

Does the Rental Car Damage Protection cover damage to other vehicles?

No, our Rental Car Damage Protection add-on does not cover damage to another vehicle. This coverage applies only to damage sustained by the rental vehicle.

However, the minimum state liability insurance that we require all renters to carry is designed to cover damage caused to another person’s vehicle or property.

Do I still need personal car insurance if I opt in for the Rental Car Damage Protection?

Yes, our Rental Car Damage Protection add-on provides additional protection for the rental vehicle but is not an insurance policy.

All renters are still required to have a current and active auto insurance policy with at least minimum liability coverage.

What if my insurance deductible is over $2,500?

If your insurance deductible exceeds $2,500, you will be required to purchase our Rental Car Collision Damage Insurance add-on for additional protection.

What are the insurance requirements for business rentals?

For business rentals, the rented vehicle must be added to the company’s insurance policy. Proof of coverage for the business and all employees or contractors who may drive the vehicle must be provided prior to the rental.

The coverage must include:

  • Comprehensive and collision protection for the rental vehicle

  • Liability coverage for any damage to other vehicles or property in the event of an accident

What is the minimum booking age?

Our minimum booking age is 25 years old.

What are your rental requirements??

  • A valid driver's license

  • Minimum age of 25 years

  • Liability insurance

  • Credit or debit card for payment

How many miles are included in my rental?

For all rentals, 150 miles per day are included. Any additional mileage will be charged at $0.625 per mile.

Do you allow one-way rentals?

No, we do not allow one-way rentals for any of our vehicles.

What happens if I don’t show up for my reservation?

If the guest does not show up within 30 minutes of their reserved time, we may cancel the reservation with no refund.

What is your cancellation policy?

  • Full refund up to 5 days before pickup, then 75% refund for remaining days

RENTAL PICKUP & RETURN

Where do I pick up and drop off my car?

  • Our headquarters - 10 mins west of BHM airport (FREE)

Do you offer custom pick-up and drop-off locations?

  • Not at this time.

What is your refueling/recharging policy?

Refueling gas vehicles and recharging electric vehicles is the renter’s responsibility. If the vehicle is returned without the same fuel or charge level it had at pickup, a fee of twice the cost of the missing gas or electricity will be applied.

For a more convenient option, you can choose our Quick Refuel & Recharge Return add-on for a one-time $60 fee, allowing you to return the vehicle without refueling or recharging. This add-on is ideal for a hassle-free return experience.

Can I return the car early?

Yes, you may return the car early. However, rental fees will be adjusted according to the terms of your original rental agreement.
